Great question! As of right now, Keyword Elite does use Overture's results (they still work, it's just not updated). Keyword Elite also uses Google Suggest, Yahoo, Ask.com, Meta tags, misspellings, as well as Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery (if you have these services). One quick note about Overture. Overture's search tool was helpful, but one problem with it was that it gave search terms alphabetically, even though it may have been searched a different way. In this way, the Overture results didn't really give you the best keyword results. Using Ask.com, Google Suggest, and Yahoo, you'll find that the keywords are usually in correct order.
